The Royal Highland Centre is located next to Edinburgh Airport, within minutes of the M8 and M9, and within easy reach of the city centre. The RHC sits off Glasgow Road (A8) between Newbridge roundabout and the A8/airport roundabout, one of the main routes to the city. Access to the Royal Highland Centre is from A8/Airport roundabout on to Eastfield Road. From there, signposts provide directions to the venue along Fairview Road onto Ingliston Road.

The Royal Highland Centre has parking available on site. Signage will direct you to the best car park.

Edinburgh Trams run from every 7 minutes between 06.18 and 22.48 and offer a consistent journey time of just 30 minutes into the city. Trams interchange with rail services at Edinburgh Gateway, Edinburgh Park, Haymarket and St Andrew Square (for Waverley). Other stops on the tram route include Murrayfield Stadium and Princes Street.

All trams are fully low floor and have dedicated spaces for wheelchairs.

The Tram stop nearest the Royal Highland Centre is Ingliston Park & Ride and is approximately a 10 – 15 minute walk to the RHC. For further information about planning your journey visit the Tram Journey Planner.

The Royal Highland Centre is an accessible venue with facilities including disabled toilets and lift access to upper floors.

Personal Assistant Tickets (formally Carer tickets) can be booked over email or by phone.

Please let us know of any access requirements ahead of your arrival at the venue so we can best facilitate your visit to the venue.

  4. Number of tickets including carer

  6. Phone number should we need to contact you ahead of your visit
  7. Will you be attending the show via car or public transport?
  8. Access notes for the booking – Are you using a wheelchair? what size is it?, do you wish to transfer out of it? any information about your mobility issues or access requirements so that our staff can better assist you during your visit, please do feel free to send it through.

Wheelchair spaces are available in rows A/B which are on the flat, each performance can seat up to 9 wheelchair users accompanied by a companion.
